Michael Borne
Dr. Michael Borne, a native of Oxford, received a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from the University of Mississippi. He graduated cum laude from the University of Mississippi Medical Center. He completed his residency training in ophthalmology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he was chosen as chief resident. Dr. Borne completed two years of fellowship training in vitreoretinal surgery at Wills Eye Hospital. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
Joel Herring
Dr. Joel Herring, a native of Hattiesburg, received a Bachelor of Science degree from Mississippi State University. He completed his medical degree and ophthalmology residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. His fellowship training in vitreoretinal surgery was completed at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dr. Herring is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
Jay Brown
Dr. Jay Brown, a native of Bay Springs, received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from the University of Mississippi. He completed his medical degree and ophthalmology residency at the University of Mississippi School of Medicine. His retina fellowship was completed at Louisiana State University. Dr. Brown is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
Bryan Propes
Dr. Bryan Propes, a native of Shreveport, received a Bachelor of Science degree from Baylor University before obtaining his medical degree from Creighton University School of Medicine. Dr. Propes furthered his training through service in the US Navy, where he completed an internship and ophthalmology residency at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
