Bryan Propes

Dr. Bryan Propes is a highly skilled retina surgeon with a distinguished career in both medicine and military service. He grew up in North Louisiana, and pursued his undergraduate studies at Baylor University, where he excelled academically and was inducted into the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa honor society.
He went on to earn his medical degree from Creighton University School of Medicine, laying the foundation for a future in ophthalmology. Dr. Propes completed his internship and ophthalmology residency at the Naval Medical Center, San Diego.
Dr. Propes further advanced his training with a fellowship at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Wilmer Eye Institute, where he specialized in retinal diseases and surgeries. During his time at Johns Hopkins, he also served as Chief Resident, demonstrating exceptional leadership and expertise in the field.
A former Captain in the United States Navy, Dr. Propes served with distinction, including as the Chief Medical Officer on USS Denver. His military career earned him multiple unit and campaign awards, as well as personal honors such as the Meritorious Service Medal, in recognition of his exceptional service and leadership.
Today, Dr. Propes continues to be recognized for his exceptional skills as a retina surgeon, combining his extensive medical training with a deep commitment to service and excellence. As a diplomat of the American Board of Ophthalmology, Dr. Propes is a board certified Ophthalmologist.
