Mississippi Retina Associates is proud to officially welcome Dr. Veronica Kon Graversen, a board-certified ophthalmologist and vitreoretinal surgeon, to our physician team.
Dr. Kon Graversen brings more than two decades of clinical, surgical, academic, and research experience to Mississippi Retina Associates. With extensive international experience spanning the United States, Mexico, and Ecuador, she joins our practice with a shared commitment to providing advanced, compassionate care for patients facing retinal disease and complex vision conditions.
Extensive Experience in Vitreoretinal Care
Dr. Kon Graversen specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases affecting the retina and vitreous, with expertise in conditions including age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal vascular disease, uveitis, and complex vitreoretinal conditions requiring surgical care.
Her extensive background allows her to care for patients across a wide range of retinal needs, from the ongoing management of chronic retinal diseases to highly specialized surgical treatment.
Prior to joining Mississippi Retina Associates, Dr. Kon Graversen completed her training at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she also served as Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology.
